I’m back lovelies! this time with something a little different…
When the nights start to get darker and i have to start trying to put the heating on without Ash noticing it can only mean one thing, winter is coming! A lot of you are probably now thinking Nikki why do you sound happy about that.. well.. thats because i am. I honestly love nothing more than feeling warm and cosy with a cup of tea when its so cold outside. So when i was approached by Debenhams to get involved in their Get Cosy For Winter campaign i just had to join in.
When i think of winter one of the first things that comes into my head is FUR (faux obviously) and lots of it! So when i saw this stunning white faux throw from part of the STAR by Julien MacDonald range i just HAD to have it. Although the price tag isn’t the cheapest it defiantly makes up for it in quality, it really makes my bed look and feel so inviting, it’s also huge! Fits across my king size bed with lots to spare .. I love having different fabrics and styles together it makes it feel so homely. My dark grey velvet cushions against my white fur throw, my chunky merino blanket all thrown into one, perfection. I also love the combination of my dark grey bed against all my lighter throws and cushions. (if you follow me on Instagram you’ll know by now its alllllll about the greys and whites for me) another thing, its actually white! Can you believe it? Not cream, not yellowey looking, just purse fresh white which is like mission impossible to find.
I then came across these silver grey faux fur cushions which are again from the STAR by Julien MacDonald range and i mean just look! They are stunning i wish you could feel how soft they are I am in love, the perfect soft grey and again they compliment the room perfectly. You can also get these cushions in a soft pink HERE. Next up candles, lots of candles. Would if even be right not to have a million candles scattered around at this time of year? The White Jasmine has such a soothing fragrance and is the perfect size to fit in my bedside hurricane lantern. The soft lighting they give off on a night when your just about to get snuggled in bed.. HEAVEN the perfect winter accessory.
